The city of Trinity is located in Randolph County, North Carolina approximately twenty miles northwest of Asheboro and nineteen miles southwest of the city of Greensboro. Settled between 1763 and 1776 in the northwestern corner of the county then known as the Granville District, the city was named for the local Trinity College and incorporated on April 12, 1869. With its pleasant seasonal climate that produces hot, humid summers and moderately cold winters, with beautiful, mild weather during the springtime and fall, Trinity is a great place to live or visit during any season of the year!
The city of Trinity is home to NASCAR drivers Bobby Labonte and Kyle Petty and is the site of the "World's Longest Hot Wheels Track,” which was built at the farm of Kyle Petty in May of 1999 in honor of his continuing dedication to children’s charities.
Museum lovers will enjoy visiting the Trinity Museum, which is housed in the Dr. Thomas L. Winslow house, circa 1855, and is one of ten antebellum era houses leftover from the days of the Old Trinity College. The John Deere® Vintage Tractor Museum is also located in Trinity and features exhibits showcasing vintage and rare John Deere® tractors and collectibles.
Trinity is home to the Sealy Corporation, the world's leading manufacturer of mattresses and bedding products, and is located just six miles from the High Point Furniture Market, the world’s largest furniture industry tradeshow that attracts more than 160,000 visitors annually.
